The 5th Filmfare Awards were held in Bombay (now Mumbai) in 1958. Famous producer and director Mehboob Khan directed the award ceremony.

Filmfare Awards is one of the oldest awards for Indian Cinema. These awards are presented to the artists of Hindi Cinema for their excellent work to motivate and admire their talent. The 4th Filmfare Awards was the fourth installment of the Filmfare Series.
