30th Filmfare Awards 1983 – Highlights
- Film Prem Rog and Shakti received the most awards in the 30th Filmfare Awards (1983). Prem Rog received twelve (12) nominations whereas Shakti received eight (8) nominations.
- By receiving twelve nominations (12) nominations, Prem Rog became the most nominated film in the 29th Filmfare Awards.
- Film Nikaah received second-most nominations (11). However, the film won only two of them.
- Film Shakti received eight (8) nominations. The film won four (4) awards and shared the most awards with the film Prem Rog.
- Amitabh Bachchan’s four (4) films received nominations in the 30th Filmfare Awards. These films were Shakti, Namak Halaal, Bemisaal and Khud-Daar. Bemisaal and Khud-Daar din not win any awards.
- In the 29th Filmfare Awards, Amitabh Bachchan’s four (4) films received nominations too. These films were Silsila (3 Nominations), Laawaris (3 Nominations), Yaarana (2 Nominations), and Naseeb (1 Nomination). However, no film could win any awards.
- No film personality was given the Filmfare Special Award.
