Critic’s Award-56th Filmfare Awards (2011) 56th Filmfare Awards 2011 – Highlights Film Udaan received the most awards in the 56th Filmfare Awards 2011. Udaan received nine (9) nominations and won seven (7) out of them. Film My Name Is Khan received ten (10) nominations.However, the film won only three (3) awards. By receiving ten (10) nominations, My Name Is Khan became the most nominated film of this year. Film Dabangg also received nine (9) nominations and won four (4) awards. Film Do Dooni Chaar received five (5) nominations and won all of them. Film Ishqiya also received five (5) nominations and won three (3) of them. Film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai too received five (5) nominations.However, the film did not win any awards. Film Band Baaja Baaraat received four (4) nominations and won only one award. The film I Hate Luv Storys and Guzaarish also received four (4) nominations each.Both films failed to win any awards. Film Love Sex Aur Dhokha received three (3) nominations and won all of them. Film Golmaal 3 also received three (3) nominations.The film won only one (1) award in the category of Scene of the Year. Film Tees Maar Khan received two nominations and won both of them.Sunidhi Chauhan won in the category of Best Female Singer for the song Sheela Ki Jawaani. Farah Khan won the Best Choreography Award for the same song. Film Raajneeti received two (2) nominations but failed to win any. Two Sisters Ratna Pathak and Supriya Pathak received a nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress .Ratana Patak received a nomination for the film Golmaal 3 whereas Supriya Pathak for the film Khichdi: The Movie.
