Critic’s Award-58th Filmfare Awards (2013) 58h Filmfare Awards 2013 – Highlights Nominations for the awards were announced on 13 January 2013. And the award ceremony was held on 20 January 2018. Sneha Khandwalkar received a nomination in the category of Best Music Director for the film Gangs of Wasseypur.By receiving the award in Filmfare Best Director Category, Sneha Khandwalkar became the second woman to be nominated in this category. Usha Khanna was the first woman to receive a nomination in this category in the 31st Filmfare Awards (1984). It was the first time when Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously.Producer-Director Yash Chopra was posthumously given the Lifetime Achievement Awards in the 58th Filmfare Awards Awards (2013). Pamela Chopra, the wife of Yash Chopra, received the award. Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan hosted the show for a record sixth time. Barfi received the most award in the 58th Filmfare Awards 2013.Barfi received twelve (12) nominations and won seven (7) of them. By receiving twelve (13) nominations, Barfi also became the most nominated film of this year. Barfi received the newly introduced Sony Trendsetter of the Year Award. Film Jab Tak Hai Jaan received seven (7) nominations and won two of them. Film Kahaani received six (6)nominations and won five (5) of them. Film Gangs of Wasseypur and Vicky Donor also received six (6) nominations each.Both films won four (4) awards each too. Film Ishaqzaade received four nominations and won only one. Film Student of the Year and Cocktail also received four (4) nominations each.Both films failed to win any awards. Film Talaash: The Answer Lies Within and English Vinglish received three (3) nominations each.These films could not win any awards. Film Paan Singh Tomar received three (3) nominations, including Best Actor (Critic’s). Film Shanghai received two (2) nominations and won one of them.Manoshi Nath and Rushi Sharma won the award for Best Costume Design.
