Filmfare Award for Best Special Effects is a part of the annual Filmfare Awards initiated in the year 1954. However, the Award for Best Special Effects was introduced in the year 2007.
Five (5) received nominations for the award in the year 2007. These films were Dhoom 2, Don-The Chase Begins Again, Rang De Basanti, Krrish, and Jaan-E-Man. Eventually, Krrish became the winner.
