Filmfare Awards are one of the prestigious awards of Hindi Cinema.
Filmfare Award for Best Documentary is also a part of the annual Filmfare Awards. The first Filmfare Awards was held on 21 March 1954. However, the Filmfare Award for Best Documentary was introduced in the 14th Filmfare Awards (1967).
