Critic’s Award-52nd Filmfare Awards (2007) 52nd Filmfare Awards 2007 – Highlights Film Omkara became the most awarded film in the 52nd Filmfare Awards 2007.The film received fifteen (15) nominations and won nine (9) of them. Omkara received the third-most nominations in the year. However, the film won the most awards (9) in the 52nd Filmfare Awards. Film Rang De Basanti received twenty-one (21) nominations and won six of them.By receiving twenty-one (21) nominations, Rang De Basanti became the most nominated film of this year. Rang De Basanti also broke the record for the highest nominations held by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which received eighteen (18) nominations in the 44th Filmfare Awards (1999). Film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna received eighteen (18) nominations.Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna became the second-highest nominated film of the year. However, the film won only one award. Abhishek Bachchan won the award in the category of Best Supporting Actor. Film Lage Raho Munnabhai received eleven (1) nominations and won four (4) of them. Film Don-The Chase Begins Again received nine (9) nominations but failed to win any awards. Film Dhoom 2 and Gangster received eight (8) nominations each.Both films received one award each.
